Shahla crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, for the first time 30 years ago to attend orientation at Pratt Institute. Since then Brooklyn has accepted her with friendly generosity. It is where she calls home. She has been to almost every neighborhood marveling the diversity of cultures, architecture, arts, cuisine. Architecture has always been of immense interest to her so about 8 years ago, when she was looking to change her profession from graphic design/photography, she chose Real Estate.
Shahla holds a BFA degree from Pratt Institute, and a photography certificate from School of Visual Arts. She has worked at Scholastic, New York times and McGraw Hill.
